I am Bin Xu, PhD candidate at Northwestern University. My research interests include social theory, cultural sociology, political sociology, disaster research, collective memory, social movements.
I am currently working my dissertation about the 2008 Sichuan earthquake in China and its cultural and political impacts. An abstract of the dissertation can be found HERE.
